Need to Venti?

Hi Friends and Stampers,

It's time for a New Challenge over at Loves Rubberstamps!  This week we want to see your Coffee, Tea, or Favorite Beverage Cards.   Here is what I came up with...

I love this Coffee Cup Die.  As soon as I knew what the Challenge was, I knew I wanted to make a shaker card.  I threw some Metallic Microbeads in the mix, with Pretty Pink Posh Sequins: Espresso, Metallic Bronze, Sand, Metallic gold. I got the idea for sequins in clusters from Heather.

Laura has a lot of fun Coffee and Tea Themed products in the Loves Rubberstamps Store. Hope you have a chance to check them out.

I Loved that longggg weekend and look forward to more!  We stayed home, did you do anything fun?

Can't wait to see your fabulous creations in the challenge.

The Ride

Hi Friends and Stampers,

Happy Holly-Day Memorial Day, (in the states).  I hope your day is going well and full of fun and exciting things.  It's my day to show you some inspiration over at the Loves Rubberstamps Inspiration Blog.

This will be a great card to give someone who is going away for a long Vacation. I love playing with my dies and they are so fun to put together.  In this case, I die-cut out two, one in Kraft and one in black and then I used the black for a shadow effect and added the dots and such to fill in with black. The paper did most of the work for me and I just stamped on the words right onto the designer paper.
Who is going on a fun vacation this summer?  I love watching House Hunters on TV and pretty much just keep that station going all the time.  When I get the TV that is, lol.  They usually show some of the city and fun spots to go to, so for me, it's like planning a get away, if only in my mind, lol.  Most of my Vacations are Stay-Cations when the boys are home from School.  Sometimes they are family events, but usually to the same destinations we have been to.  Occasionally we get a long weekend at the Beach.  I don't mind Stay-Cations though, this is where all my toys are.

We also love to go to the movies.  This weekend, we went to see, Tomorrowland.  LOVED it.  The lady at the ticket booth gave my son a pin and told him, "You are lucky, this was the very last one."  We didn't even know the relevance until we saw the show.  On the way out, he did say something to the effect of, "If I could go there, I would invent something that would clean our house."  OMGosh we laughed so hard.  Secretly, he did take the pin out of the packaging though, lol.

I hope you have had a chance to play in our current Challenge - Black and White with a touch of color.   If you haven't had a chance to check out the New Items in the store, you are going to be so excited to see what the Newest company added is.

Thanks for checking in on me.

Black and White with a Touch of Color

Hi Friends and Stampers,

It's time for another challenge over at the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge Blog.  This weeks theme is black and white with a touch of color.  Our sponsor this week is Stitchybear and this is what I came up.

I would like to thank Stitchybear for the fabulous image they provided us.  Her wings were begging for some wink of stella and they shimmer so nicely.  I really enjoyed making this one.  I see I need to trim that ribbon just a wee bit more though, lol.

I cannot wait to see your entree's.

Spectacular!

Hi Friends and Stampers,

It's a Happy Holly-Day Monday and my turn to show you some inspiration at the Loves Rubberstamps Inspiration Blog.   Here is what I came up.

Carta Bella 6X6 - Summer Lovin'

I love these cute dies!  I put glossy accents over the lenses for a more realistic feel.  The sun and the butterfly are from the Everyday is a picnic.  Love having the matching dies, it just adds so much more to the sun.

If you are waiting on an order or an email from Laura, I need to let you know that her Grandmother is very ill in the hospital and Laura is by her side.  So please be patient and she will most definitely be shipping your order and answering emails as soon as possible.

I hope you are able to play in our current challenge, add a sentiment.  You still have a few more hours to join in!

Thank you so much for looking in on me.

Wishing You A Day Filled With Love

Hi Friends and Family,

It's time for a New Challenge over at the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge Blog.  This week we are wanting you to add a sentiment on your projects.  Our Sponsor this week is Lacy Sunshine!  My Step Mother sent me a gifty a few weeks ago of two Lacy Sunshine stamps, isn't Rory Love Letters cute?! Thank you Cyndy!  She goes perfectly with the Special Delivery stamps and accents.

I'm addicted to the bokah backgrounds, lol.   I got out my non stick craft sheet, and my Mini blending tool and with my Distress Inks - went to town.  I did use a small circle stencil, and it works so much better because you can add more white and more white until you have a few that are whiter than the others.  Then I used a larger circle home made stencil and did a few of those.

You can hardly see the Wink of Stella, but I added it to the hearts, all of them and in real life, they shimmer.

I hope you have a chance to play along in our Challenge.  Also, you will want to pop on over the New Items listed in the store....more yummy goodness!

Thanks for checking in on me,

Holly

I Dig You

Hi Friends and Stampers,

I hope all the Mom's out there had a Wonderful Mother's Day!  I worked but after work was a lot of fun.  I want to Thank my Guys for making my Day Special!

It's A Happy Holly-Day Monday, and time for me to show you some Inspiration over at the Loves Rubberstamps Inspiration Blog.   I had to use my Gnome's again, I just love them!   They are so fun to color.  I used my Silver Wink of stella for the buckle and the shovel.  The red hat doesn't really go with the paper but you know, all Gnome's must have a red hat right? lol.  I had so much fun breaking out my dies and using them in this design.  They just add that special touch.

I hope you have had time to play in our Anything Goes Challenge!   It's always my favorite one to play in.   And you want to head on over the Loves Rubberstamps Store to see the New Items added!

Have a great day!

Holly

Shaker Mermaid

Hello Friends,

It's time for another challenge over at the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge Blog.  It's everyone's favorite, Anything Goes!  Whoo Hoo.  We have a special Sponsor this week - A Random Fan, so I wanted to use a stamp that Laura carries in her store.  I also got super excited when I saw Kimberly Crawford's Fishbowl Shaker Card.   The minute I saw it, I knew I wanted to add a Mermaid to the mix.  So I had to make my own.

Now I could have added more to the outside, but I didn't want to take away from the over all design.  it seemed busy enough as it was and it is a shaker card, so the last thing I wanted was anything to come flying off the card, lol.

I started off with X-Press it Copic Paper and stamped the Monet Mermaid in Memento Black Ink, Then I stamped her again onto some scratch paper, fussy cut her out and covered her up with that scratch paper cut out.  Then I stamped the Mermaid castle and again, restamped on scratch paper and fussy cut that out and covered up the castle.  Then I airbrushed the blue and the sand.  Uncovered them and colored them up with my Copic Markers.  I followed Kimberly's fishbowl tutorial and used some cute polka dot paper and viola, a peek-a-boo shaker card.  So fun!

Take a look at the New Items in the store!  So much fun and there are so many things in the store that can be potential Shaker cards!!! lol.

Hello

Hello Friends and Stampers,

Happy Holly-Day Monday!  It's my turn to show you some inspiration today, so here is this weeks card.

MFT BB You Gnome Me - coming soon

I could have also used this for this weeks Challenge - Use two or more dies.  Such an easy thing to do.  I love dies.  I think you are also going to love tomorrow's Challenge even better ;)

You know pretty much I love anything Birdie Brown draws.  I literally squeal at all her new sets, I just love them.  This Gnome set is no different.  I absolutely love the little gnomes.  I saw this color combination on Debbie Olsen's Blog and I loved it, so I decided to try it out.  And you know I wanted to make this a shaker card right? lol.   I have to wait a few days for some more shaker card supplies to come in.

Well it's a New week for us and we are ever so happy to have our Jeepy back from Camp Keep.  What an amazing child he is.  And when he's gone, the sun does not shine as bright, the air is not as satisfying, and his Dad and I just wonder around aimlessly waiting to pass the time til he got back.  He is like our life force, our purpose to do what we do.  And nothing made that more evident than the week he was away.  So yeah, he is back.

I hope you have a chance to play in our Challenge and check out the store!

Holly
