Thanks

Hi Friend and Stampers,

It's time for a new challenge over at the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge Blog!  This week we are asking you to show us your Thank You Cards or Gifts.  It seemed fitting!  I decided to join Team B in this one and here is what I came up with.

Oh I love these Random Fan stamps Laura carries in her Loves Rubberstamps store.  I am very blessed to be able to be one of her designers, it's amazing to be able to use all these fabulous stamps, dies and paper available in one store!  Plus she is really awesome to work for.  So for starters, I am thankful to be on her design team and even more blessed to be her Design Team Coordinator.

I'm also blessed to have such a wonderful family and net work of friends and acquaintances who share in the same passion for stamping and paper designing that I do.  So from my heart, I give thanks to you.

Now you cannot tell from the picture, but I put glossy accents on the goggles, scooter and the puppies nose, as well as the, "Thanks" for a little dimension and shine.  I love this road die and speech bubble die a lot too, they are so much fun to use.  And the sweater weather paper is just what I needed for her during fall.

I hope to see your fabulous creations over at the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge Blog, where you will have a chance to win a prize voucher from the store and free images from your sponsor, Crafty Sentiments Designs., which we also carry in the Store.    While you are looking, take a look in the Loves Rubberstamps Store as well for any New Items that have popped up recently!

I hope you have a blessed and happy Holly-Day season,

Holly

Sharp Dressed Man!

Hello Friends and Stampers,

Happy Holly-Day Monday!  For those in the States, are you ready for Thursday?  I have all kinds of things I have to do to prepare, lol.   Do you all get dressed up for Thanksgiving Dinner?  We don't.  But I still thought this would be a cute card for preparing for dinner....

I love this Die-namic Die set!  This card came together so fast and easy it was amazing!  And now that it's the Holly-Days, it's more important than ever to be able to make a really quick and simple card that packs a punch.  I have many more of these to make in my future!

Have you been able to play in our Current Challenge?   Have you checked out the New Items Laura has placed in the store?   I always get so excited, there are so many different products, something for everyone for sure.

Okay I'm off to make some more Holly-Day cards..... Have a great week!

Holly

Come with a Bow Tie too!

Winged Things

Hi Friends and Stampers,

Time for a New Challenge over at the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge Blog.  This weeks theme is Winged Things!   So show us your wings!  Here is mine.....

I'm so super excited that we will be carrying Aurora Wings!   Oh and did I mention this is our sponsor this week?   This is a good time for me to thank Aurora Wings for the fabulous images they provided the design team and to thank them for making their cute adorable Sprites into stamps!  Whenever available, I like to use stamps.  Something about getting them inky and coloring them up from there.  I dunno.

Also, this is a good time for you to check the Loves Rubberstamps Store's New Look if you haven't seen it.  Okay I have to confess, I love hitting the home button on the left hand side because New Items show up each time and I love looking through everything at the store this way, lol.   Of course, I always have to check out the New Items first.

I cannot wait to see what you come up with for this Challenge!

Happy Camper

Hi Friends and Family,

Are we getting ready for Thanksgiving here in the States?  I know we are!  The Holly-Days are upon us and we have much to be Thankful for this year.  In the spirit of Cubscout Camping, I have made a Camping card for your Inspiration today, over on the Loves Rubberstamps Inspiration Blog.

I love these backgrounds!  So easy to use and it's fun to create your own background papers.  Love the new tent and camper and all the adorable matchy stamps and dies to go with them.  I am going to be using these again and again with all the cubscout camping trips.  If you had a summer camping trip, these would be so perfect for your scrap pages.

Don't forget you have til tonight to play in our Challenge!  And tomorrow starts a new Challenge!

Thanks for Looking in on Us.

Holly

PSST - Have you seen the New Items in the Store?  Or the new look of the store?  OMG, I love it.  Every time I push the "Home" link on the left, a whole new crop of products comes up in the store.  I literally sat here while creating cards and push that link at least 50 times, lol.   I love seeing all the goodies in the store come up randomly like that, makes me feel so creative all over again and there are stamps I forgot I have and stamps I forgot I wanted to have, lol.

You're the Coolest

Hi Friends and Stampers,

I was feeling pretty spoiled yesterday when I made this card and watched the football game at the same time, lol.   Love my new HDL monitor screen.   So during replays and commercials, over to the big shot I went.

It's my turn to show you some inspiration today over on the Loves Rubberstamps Blog.  I love these mason jar dies Laura has in her store, Loves Rubberstamps.  All the Die-Namics made my card so easy to do.

I used Vellum for my Mason Jar Cup and then distressed the ends with Tumbled glass so it wouldn't get lost on the paper, lol.  I also inked up the sentiment with Tumbled Glass and cut out a vellum die cut to cover it.  I also cut the ice cubs in vellum and inked them up with Tumbled Glass.  This was a lot of fun to make.  I thought about adding some brads, but I like it just the way it is.

I hope you all have a great week!  Don't forget today is the last day to get in our Anything Goes Challenge and tomorrow we have a new Challenge.   And you have all week to comment on the Sunday Blog Hop for a chance to win a prize.

Thanks for Looking in on Us.

Perk Up

Hi Friends and Stampers,

It's time for a new challenge over on the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge Blog!  This week is everyone's favorite - Anything Goes!

Here is what I came up with:

My Co-Worker occasionally will bring us coffee in the morning.  She is much better at getting up and around and out the door than I am, lol.   So I wanted to give her a card and a star bucks card.   She will never accept any money from me, so this one should cover it and possibly pay for a couple more, lol.

Laura is adding New Items to the store all the time now, so be sure to check those out!  I can't wait to see what you make!

Thank You Teacher

Good Morning Friends and Stampers,

It's my day to show you some inspiration, On the Loves Rubberstamps Inspiration Blog. So Happy Holly-Day.  I am happy too, for a couple months I have lost my mojo and lacked motivation to even get near my stampy stuff and now I have all kinds of ideas and things I want to make.  I went to the Scrap Expo in Sacramento recently and took four classes while I was there.  It's kinda like submerging yourself into scrapping again, lol.   But it worked!

This past week, we had parent-teacher conferences and my son's 6th grade teacher is really showing an interest in how our son can reflect what he knows on paper.   My son is in such a hurry to get his test and work done so he can read, that he is not going back and looking or even really reading the answers.   So it's amazing, but we will have to take the books away at school, lol.  He loves to read and is reading at nearly an 8th grade level, so now we need to make him concentrate on other things. Anyway, he does have a really good teacher and we appreciate the time and effort that he has taken to help our son out.  So I made him a card.

Don't forget about the Sunday Blog hop, you have all the way to Saturday to hop.  Oh and you want to check out our Challenge Blog and the New Items that Laura has placed in the store too! .... and I need to mention the GIVE-AWAY on the Loves Rubberstamps Face-Book Page!  Go like that page and check it out.

More Expo Layouts

Hi Again,

Wow, three posts in one day!!!  And after being MIA for so long, lol.   I have the last layout we did at the Sacramento Expo.  It's a bit hard to see but we used Acrylic and so the paper was for the front and back, plus I added a bit of paper on the backs.

It's a bit tricky to do the backs, because whatever you add, you will see on the front as well.  It was fun to do something a bit different and now I have 10 pages done.  That makes me so happy!!! I'm not going to lie, I love it all kitted out and designed for me, lol.  I do plan on doing some of my own designs too but it sure gave me a great head start on things.  I also bought about 8 other page kits, so I will be working on those too. :)

Thanks for checking in and looking.  And yes, I will have another post tomorrow!!!

Sacramento Expo - Vintage Purse

Here is another project I did at the Sacramento Scrap Expo.  It's a Vintage Purse and the class was put on by the Pine Cone Designs.  I was so super impressed with this instructor.  Her son had a head injury the week before and was in the ICU, she brought him to the class.... like the show must go on.  His doctor said it would be okay, but even after the week she had, I'm not sure I could do this, lol.  God Bless her.

This was so fun to finish up at home.   Lots of pockets, flaps and tags.

Sacramento Expo

Hi Friends and Stampers,

I recently went to the Sacramento Scrap Exp and took four classes to submerge myself back into making something, lol.   I had a great time and brought three out of four classes home to finish up.  I am a slow scrapper and most of these require some time for detail.

This two page layout came with two more pages and then we able to purchase another two pages kit, so it turned into a six page layout, lol.  I love the little bird houses and the colors are right up my alley, so I had a lot of fun with this one..... once I got home, lol.  If you click on the pic's they come up bigger.
